The Peter Harris Award for Student of the Year 2010 went to Kevin Unsworth. Kevin is a 1st Duan from the Kingskerswell class. Kevin has impressed Senior Instructors with his dedication. Nothing fazes him, he just keeps working to improve his Tai Chi. In the last 12 months his forms have reached a high standard, his movements becoming relaxed, natural and focused. He has really shown the Tai Chi spirit, proving hard work really does pay off.

At the end of the autumn term at Kingskerswell, the students below were all awarded their Intermediate Certificates.

Fred James, Denise James, Philip Moon, Pauline Harrap, Jill Elliott and Jane Gray.

Brian Robson awarded 4th Duan

At a recent Seminar conducted by Master Nigel Sutton, Brian Robson, Senior instructor at our Kingskerswell class, was promoted to Master Instructor 4th Duan .

Brian has been practising Tai Chi for over twenty years, and is one of the founding members of Zhong Ding South West.

He is not only an excellent teacher, but a superb practitioner of our art, both technically and in his conduct.

We are sure everyone will join in congratulating Brian for this much-deserved award.
